The Principal's Message
In today's every changing complexed society it is our duty and responsibility according to the vision of the school to produce daughters of great humanity, capable of moving forward towards new avenues of life facing challenges successfully, securing the Sri Lankan identity. Binding with that objective I have committed myself not only to implement a curriculum based learning in school which involves the development of knowledge, attitudes and skills, but also providing necessary facilities to organize and hold co-curricular activities with a quality administration.
At this special moment as we celebrate the century of the school it is my duty to extend my heartiest congratulations and gratitude to the past principals, the academic staff, Old Girls' Association and the parents within this period of hundred years, for whose hard work and committed service from generation to generation fulfilling the timely needs blending with the human and physical resources have brought the school to a very high esteem today.
I started my career in the education sector as a Science / maths trained teacher and was engaged in teaching for twenty years until I joined as an In Service Advisor of Science to extend my service in professional development of teachers.
I entered the Sri Lanka Education Administrative Service (SLEAS) General Carder in 2007 by sitting the SLEAS Limited competitive examination and securing the 1st place in the Island.
